Seizing the opportunity to trigger break options in their leases, Edgar Property Solutions helped Glasgow call centre City Park Technologies restructure their leasehold interests and make substantial cost savings.
City Park Technologies wanted to take advantage of forthcoming mutual break options in their four leases within City Park. Occupying 26,750 sq ft over 2 floors in the Alexandra Parade property, the company wanted to remain within their premises, but at significantly reduced occupancy costs.
Edgar Property Solutions successfully negotiated the removal of the mutual break options and extended all four leases until 2017. As a result, I secured total savings of £378,000 for City Park Technologies over this extended term. These savings were instrumental in City Park Technologies renewing an outsourcing contract with a key call centre client.
The negotiation process in this instruction was prolonged and complex, and my skills in being able to keep the deal between landlord and tenant on track were fully tested. However, the final outcome I achieved for my client was extremely favourable.
